David: Thank you for your note of appreciation. It was my honor to launch the CDC support of the program in 2015 and chair the TAG for the last three years. In my new position, I am assigned by CDC to direct development of a program supporting HBV and HCV elimination activities globally. The Task Force for Global Health has great experience in supporting disease elimination activities in over 154 countries. I intend to bring together expertise in viral hepatitis prevention with the Task Force pioneering work in disease elimination to assist viral hepatitis elimination globally. In my new role, I look forward to continuing to assist the Georgia HCV Elimination Program in collaboration with CDC, you ,and your Ministry. I look forward to the success of your program and the elimination of Hepatitis C in Georgia.
