Below you can see the invitation for the delegations at the WHA to attend the event on Saturday evening. I assume it has been shared with the missions in Geneva, so this is just the additional reminder.

 

Dear WHO Mission Focal Points,

 

On the occasion of the Seventy-first World Health Assembly, and in recognition of Haile Gebrselassie, WHO has the honour to invite your delegations and you to a welcoming reception on Saturday, 19 May 2018 from 18:30 to 20:00 in the main hall of WHO.

 

The reception will provide an opportunity to personally meet with Haile Gebrselassie, a retired long-distance track and road running athlete who won two Olympic gold medals and four World Championship titles, as an encouragement for your delegations’ participation in the “Walk the Talk: The Health for All Challenge” on Sunday, 20 May 2018.

 

Refreshments and light finger food will be served at the reception.

 

To confirm your participation at the reception on Saturday, 19 May 2018, please send the names of your delegates attending to Lizzie Tecson (tecsone@who.int) and Karina Wolbang (wolbangk@who.int).
