Dear Sopo,

There are several governing bodies meetings in the following months, among them the World Health Assembly and the Executive Board meeting in May.

Our Regional Director as well as Director General will be very busy during those two meetings, and I also see no urgent issues that need to be discussed at high level. In any case, please, let me know, if the minister has any important issue and if there is a need for a formal meeting.

I am sure he will be able to informally talk to the Regional Director. This is just to let us know, if we need to request a formal meeting with our director.

Additionally please be informed that we are following-up with the office of the Prime Minister, after he has got formal invitation letter (in March) to attend the Regional Committee in Rome, 17-20 September 2018. The Regional Director would be very pleased, if the Prime Minister could contribute at the round table on Tuesday, 18 September 2018. We certainly hope that he will be available. For sure we will keep you informed about further development.
