Subject: Preparations for the mission about SSA’s organizational capacity

Dear Nino,

I hope this email finds you well!

We started to prepare the mission on the SSA’s organizational capacity (November 6-10). In August during our meeting you encouraged us to start to work before the mission and kindly offered opportunity that also SSA could start to work with us earlier. Keeping that in mind our leading consultant Dr Andres Rannamäe (in CC) has identified the list of information (see below) that would help him better understand existing structures and practices before the mission.

At this stage, it would be good if somebody (from SSA?) could just put this information together and its very good if something is available in English but it can be also in Georgian. We can use Google translation to get the general idea and then decide in which cases we need to go into more details.

List of requested information:

a.     Legislative acts that define the mandate, organisational structure, accountability etc for the SSA  (not only UHC specifics but the whole SSA's mandate)

b.     Statute of the SSA (if exists) and organogram

c.     Legislative acts that define the UHC program and vertical health programs; the rights and responsibilities of the SSA in terms of these

d.     SSA's internal procedures (if exist) related to the UHC and vertical programs

e.     Latest SSA's development plan (if exists) and operational plan (objectives and activities for 2017 and potentially for longer period)

f.      Latest activity report (public or internal) that describes SSA's activities and achievements

Please let us know if this would work for you it is possible to find a person who would be able to help us. We are also working with scope and purpose of the mission that we’d like to share with you soon (hopefully we can discuss it briefly face to face on Monday, Oct 2nd).

With best,

Triin
