Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to announce another global priority bid win.

Abt Associates Wins Program Support Center (PSC) Task Order Contract for another Five Years

Abt Associates was awarded a five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the Program Support Center (PSC) Task Order Contracts. The PSC provides a full range of shared services to Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies as well as other Federal agencies. Through this IDIQ, the PSC enables its client agencies achieve their respective missions by expanding the availability of contracted services and reducing the time needed for agencies to obtain required services. Abt has been a PSC contractor for the past 15 years and looks forward to continuing the work we have performed for PSC client agencies such as the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), and the Office of Women’s Health (OWH).

The IDIQ requires the ability to perform a wide and diverse variety of services including policy assessment and analysis; program assessment; evaluation design efforts, evaluations and data collection; performance measurement; technical assistance; data analysis, and auxiliary and support services. To augment our own capabilities and to meet our small business and small disadvantaged business requirements, Abt has selected a strong team of 16 subcontractors that bring specific domain expertise and the ability to provide services across a range of health and social programs. We have worked with most of these partners previously on other contracts.

According to Cindy Taylor, Practice Leader for Income Security and Workforce (ISW), “this contract will allow Abt Associates to continue our work with PSC agencies, implementing, operating, and evaluating a broad array of programs and policies designed to improve people’s lives. What’s more is that we can help PSC achieve its goal of expanding its client base by helping to market this  IDIQ vehicle to other clients seeking a streamlined procurement mechanism.”

This proposal was a collaborative effort led by SEP, and included USH, and Abt SRBI. Congratulations to the entire proposal team including technical lead, Cindy Taylor; Chris Saia, business volume manager; and GBDU proposal manager, Judye Yellon.

Best Regards,

Jay
