Dear Abt Colleagues,
We wanted to give you an update on the rollout of Abt Global Intranet (AGI). In our last message we discussed a phased rollout to ensure we can provide excellent levels of support as you learn the new system. This phased approach is also intended to ensure that the system meets our performance standards.
Currently, the AGI site is not consistently meeting the performance standards we require as a result of changes to the platform made by Microsoft last week—an extremely isolated occurrence. As a result, we are working closely with Microsoft to ensure our performance targets will be met prior to going live. We understand AGI will change the way we work together and are putting great emphasis on both system quality and usability.
This means AGI will roll out later in Q1. As before, we will work directly with divisions and departments to determine optimal dates for launch in keeping with our phased approach.
Please watch your email for more information from your division or department’s AGI Business Working Group member and from the AGI mailbox regarding the specific rollout schedule.
