SUMMER 2015
BOLD DELIVERS IMPACT

Letter from Diana R. Silimperi, MD
International Health Division Vice President

Dear Friends,

This Summer 2015 edition of Global Health: Innovation to Impact highlights Abt Associates’ commitment to achieving health impact through bold thinking, and introduces in-house experts in HIV and AIDS, family planning and reproductive health, and maternal, newborn, and child health.

The articles and infographics in this issue demonstrate Abt’s commitment to helping countries make documented improvements in health outcomes through our technical assistance to governments and the private sector, including through the USAID Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) project, and project work focused on improving childbirth in India and preventing malaria in Uganda.

Globally, Abt is contributing to increasing use of modern family planning methods, helping more people access HIV prevention, care and treatment programs, improving the quality of prenatal, delivery, and child health services, and protecting millions of people from malaria.
