- Annual EAC Survey. Watch for your invitation to participate in this survey, which provides valuable feedback to senior management about a number of key issues. Interested in last year’s survey results? Find them on the EAC Staff Survey page of AGI.
- This year’s tentative timeline: Survey Launch to All Staff: October 1; Survey Results Presentations: Early 2014.
- EAC Elections for Bethesda and Africa Representatives. Want to be an EAC Rep? Check out the Elections page for more information. Nominations will open in October.
- Meet & Greets. We hosted Meet & Greets with Rich Small, Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer in September in Bethesda and Cambridge (telecommuters and international staff dialed in). Look for another Meet & Greet with Abt SRBI President and CEO Scott Royal in December.
Mid-year EAC Work Plan Progress
During our August EAC meeting, we reviewed how well we are executing against our 2013 work plan. In addition to the activities listed above, a few highlights include:
- Quarterly meetings with HR leadership, working towards:
- Better implementation of the Spot Recognition program,
- Increased communication on Professional Development opportunities, and
- Introduction of the EAC in Field Office’s new employee orientation.
- Regular meetings with IHD leadership to share the employee perspective on key issues and to advise on issues raised from last year’s survey, such as:
o Feedback on communications efforts,
o Feedback to HR on the PREP process, and
