Dear colleagues,

After a competitive hiring process with a number of well-qualified candidates participating, please join me in welcoming 3 new Portfolio Managers for  IHD: Cathy Thompson, Francoise Armand, and Natasha Sakolsky.  You already know Cathy and Francoise; abit about Natasha follows below, and will share more next week in her welcome announcement.

Natasha Sakolsky will start on Monday, June 23.  She joins us from FHI360 where she served as FHI360’s Director of Operations Performance and Capacity.  She brings 25 years of experience in program management, public health, and international development, and an MPH from Tulane.  With her combination of skills and experience, we believe she will be an excellent addition to our team.

Portfolio assignments for each will be announced by the end of June – we need to ensure project teams and clients are informed before we announce more broadly.  At that time, we’ll send around a revised list of portfolio/project assignments for all PMs.  Ultimately, we are aiming to consolidate diverse country projects with one PM to improve coordination, efficiency and technical synergy,  recognizing that with existing workloads, relationships, etc. this may not be immediately possible in the short-term.
