EAC Activity Update: January – March, 2013
Here’s a brief update on the activities and progress of the EAC over the past quarter. As always, if you have questions or comments, feel free to send an email to EAC@abtassoc.com or contact any of the EAC representatives directly.
Connect
ü 2012 EAC Survey results were presented in Bethesda, Cambridge and Amman, Jordan. We appreciated your feedback on both the survey and the presentations. Results were also reported to our Board of Directors to ensure that staff voices were heard at all levels of the company.
ü EAC held its Annual Meeting in Bethesda in mid-January, where we welcomed new members, met with MAG members, and drafted a work plan for the upcoming year.
ü Outside of core EAC activities (EAC survey, metrics, elections, ESOP involvement), our Top Three activities for 2013 are: working with HR to help create career paths at Abt; reexamining the spot recognition program; and creating opportunities for professional development.
Represent
ü Attended and recorded results of two CEO Breakfasts in Bethesda. These breakfast discussions focused on the JTA acquisition, managing a diverse company, and working across divisions and sequestration.
Support
ü The EAC has met with Human Resources (Clarissa and John) and IHD (Diana) to support their needs and provide employee feedback.
