Asia/Europe/Near East/Jordan Staff,

The EAC is holding an election to replace a representative from Asia/Europe/Near East/Jordan region.

Nominations start today!

Why would you want to run for the EAC?

The simplest answer is: to be involved. Current and past EAC members have found it to be a rewarding experience in which they get to be directly involved in major ongoing initiatives at Abt and represent their colleagues’ concerns and ideas. Former EAC reps have liked the opportunity to interact with key divisions and departments to share employees’ perspective and feedback on issues such as internal mobility, professional development opportunities, and how to improve the employee’s sense of connection to the company.

As the Asia/Europe/Near East/Jordan staff representative, you will be tasked with representing all Asia/Europe/Near East/Jordan employees (approximately 120). The winning candidate will serve one 3-year term that goes through 2017.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Attending monthly EAC meetings by telephone conference call,

·         Participating in person in a 3-day annual EAC Meeting in January in the US; and

·         Committing a small percentage of your time towards working on key initiatives raised by staff (charge time available).

Nominations

Employees nominate themselves to run for the EAC. If you are interested in nominating yourself, please complete the brief Candidate Nomination form online.  When nominations close on November 4, 2014, we will make candidate information available on the EAC website. Voting will be conducted through the EAC elections software, maintaining confidentiality.
