We are all  very busy improving the lives of others around the world but we need to remember that our own work experiences and skills greatly influence how well we do our jobs.  It’s MYPREP season and it’s your chance to focus on your goals as a professional.  If your goals are complete please be sure to schedule your MYPREP with your supervisor so you can review progress against them and make changes/additions.  The deadline to hold  MYPREP discussions is  Dec 15th.

 

Oops! I don’t have my FY15 goals in Atlas yet, what do I do?

 

If you don’t have your goals updated please go to the attached quick reference guides for step by step instructions.  Its quick and  it’s easy but best of all the HR service center is available to help.  And remember, you can copy any relevant goals from FY14 into FY15…to save you time.   Strive to have 4-5 goals to discuss with your supervisor.

 

Upcoming Supervisory Changes… who do I meet with?

 

Some of you may be experiencing or are about to experience planned supervisory changes during this time if that is your case, please meet with your current supervisor to review the goals you have been working towards.  If you are aware of a supervisory transition coming up soon, this is a good time to arrange for a brief discussion with your upcoming supervisor for inputs to your goals.  Once the switch is effective in the ATLAS system your new supervisor will be able to review your goals.  Recall that goals can be modified by you and approved by your supervisor anytime during the year .

What improves employee engagement and performance?  Research shows it is neither the technology we use nor the annual performance review.  Instead, it is the day-to-day process of articulating expectations, providing and receiving constructive feedback and leveraging employee talents that makes the difference. 

                  

To support more consistent and meaningful engagement for Abt employees around the world, all supervisors will meet with their direct reports for the Mid-Year Performance Review Evaluation Plan.  MYPREP meetings will take place between Monday, November 10 and Monday, December 15 with the following agenda:

 

·         Conduct a two-way conversation to share feedback on the first seven months of FY15

·         Communicate expectations for the next five months

·         Slide1 (2)Review and update FY15 goals, if necessary, in the ATLAS system

To modify your FY15 Goals in ATLAS, refer to the attached ATLAS Goals - Quick Reference Guide for instruction.  It is easy!
