Thanks a lot!
Sincerely,
Natia Baratelia

Subject: Required Security Training – Complete by Dec 31
Securing information is a critical part of the work we do at Abt. Managing and protecting our information and the data our clients entrust to us is the reason Information Risk Management requires security training for all Abt staff, which will be conducted annually during the month of December.
Earlier this year, all Abt staff completed one hour of General Security Awareness (GSA) training to kick off this important initiative. We know everyone is dedicated to doing the important work of Abt. To best accommodate busy schedules and the importance of maintaining security awareness, we are pleased to announce that the GSA training has been streamlined to 30 minutes to target the most important security topics for you in your day-to-day tasks.
What is happening?
Our annual General Security Awareness (GSA) training will take place beginning December 2nd and closing December 31st. To provide the most opportunity, training will be available for four weeks.
When must training be completed?
You will have four weeks to complete the GSA Training. It will be available online beginning December 2nd through December 31st.
If you are planning to be out of the office, please be sure to complete the training before you leave. It only takes 30 minutes!
Is General Security Awareness (GSA) Training required?
Yes, it is mandatory for all Abt staff. However, if your project will be closing in December 2013 or January 2014, you are not required to complete the GSA Training.
Will a charge code be provided?
Yes, time for completing GSA Training will be covered up to 30 minutes. The charge code is provided at the end of the training.
Are there options for languages other than English?
Yes, training and materials are also provided in Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. To access these languages, contact the IT Service Center to set your language preference.
How do I get started on GSA Training?
To complete the training online, just follow these simple steps to launch the training and access language options:
1. If you prefer to train in a language other than English, contact the IT Service Center to make a selection.
2. Open an Internet Explorer browser.
3. Enter this address: http://abt.securingthehuman.org. If the training does not launch, please follow these steps:
a. Log into Abtremote at http://abtremote.abtassoc.com
b. Then come back to this email and click this link: http://abt.securingthehuman.org
4. GSA Training is integrated with Single Sign On (SSO). If asked for login credentials, enter your Abt username and password. If you encounter any difficulty, contact the IT Service Center for assistance.
5. Begin your training with “Introduction” and view each module. The final module is labeled “End.”
If Internet access or reliability is a concern at your location, your local IT Manager may organize group training for your office. Please check with your IT Manager if you are interested in participating in a group training session.
If you have any questions about data security needs or training, please contact IRM.
Thank you!
