Hi Margarita,
I’m hoping you can help me with an issue we are having with labor adjustments. With the year-end approaching we are receiving a large number of adjustments to correct holiday time at the sites. While this is not unusual, the problem we are having is none of these labor adjustments are properly documented. In most cases the only comment explaining why the adjustment is being made is “reclassification of time”. We have been rejecting these adjustments and adding a comment explaining that we need more information as to why this adjustment is required. Unfortunately these adjustments are being resubmitted without any changes to the comments so we are forced to reject them a second and sometimes third time. Could you please reach out to the field and explain to them that an adequate comment is required for us to be able to process these labor adjustments? I want to make sure we get all of these processed before March 28th because the fringe labor categories can’t be adjusted after we close the fiscal year.
Thanks for any help you can provide. I’m sure our rejection of these labor adjustments must be frustrating to the field.
