Securing information is a critical part of our work. We must safeguard our own data and protect the data our clients entrust to us. IRM is pleased to announce “General Security Awareness (GSA) Training,” which is mandatory for all Abt staff around the world. Staff may take this training from an Abt-approved iPad or computer.
When must training be completed?
You will have four weeks to complete the GSA Training. It is available online beginning December 11th and continuing through January 11, 2015.
Is General Security Awareness Training required?
Yes, it is mandatory for all Abt staff, domestic and those based outside the United States. We will circulate a list of non-completions to supervisors and to the MAG one week prior to the deadline.
Employees who fail to complete the training by the deadline may be placed on unpaid administrative leave.
Will a charge code be provided?
Yes, time for completing GSA Training will be covered up to 1 hour. The charge code is provided at the end of the training.

Are there options for languages other than English?
Yes, training and materials are also provided in Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. To access these languages, contact the
IT Service Center to set your language preference.
What if I'm a new employee and just took the training?
Any employee that has completed the General Security Awareness training as part of the New Employee Orientation after October 1st, 2014 does not need to retake the training.
