Abt Associates Celebrates Earth Month 2014
For last year’s Earth Month Celebration, we invited all Abt staff to submit photos of the Earth, as they saw it. The final combined slideshow depicted the world as seen through the eyes of One Global Abt. This year, we’ve extended this theme to seeing our Earth through the eyes of children.
We invite all Abt staff to submit a drawing made by a child, that answers the question, “Why and how should we protect our Planet?”
This invitation is open to all children associated with Abt staff, including sons and daughters, nieces and nephews, neighbors, mentees, etc. Each participating child will have the opportunity to help select the animal that Abt will “adopt” in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund. We will make a compilation of all entries and share them with colleagues throughout Abt Associates.
Participation Guidelines
§ Open to children ages up to 18 years
§ 1 drawing per child
§ Each drawing must be submitted with the following information: Name and age of child, country, caption for the drawing, and associated Abt employee
§ Submit the drawings as a jpg. file (color scan or take picture with smart phone) – file size minimum 250KB, maximum 5 MB.
§ Email your submission to Environmental_Sustainability@abtassoc.com by April 18th.
§ If you have any difficulty submitting a drawing please reach out to the ESP (Environmental_Sustainability@abtassoc.com).
Last year, we saw the earth through your eyes. This year, let’s see it through theirs.
I hope you will enjoy participating in this celebration!
Thank you.
