Dear Colleagues,

I must say that after today’s FY15 State of the Division meeting, “I Feel Good!” And I hope you do as well after hearing our colleagues, Joe Tayag and Lauren Weir, lead us through an exhilarating recap of IHD’s successes and challenges in FY15.

The high-energy State of the Division quiz show conducted by Joe touched upon increased international hires, project impacts, client diversification, and proposal wins and losses. Lauren’s panelists: Amina Aminu – PATHS2, Paula Wood – AIRS, and Milly Kayongo – HFG, addressed how their projects have innovatively dealt with change - in project scope, technical focus, client perspectives and partners. They stressed the importance of clear communications, utilizing resources across the Division and Departments, and maintaining focus on delivering results.

Attending the virtual meeting were staff from 14 countries, including diverse US- based offices and 8 telecommuters.

A  big thanks to Joe and Lauren as well as to our panelists - they were superb! But I would also like to thank Catherine Connor and Ann Lion for their support and feedback during preparation of the sessions,  Mark McEuen and Liz Nugent, along with Creative Services for the development of the IHD FY 15 At-a- Glance fact sheet, Anina Tardif, Wayne Olejnik and Ariel Aquino for IT support, Christina Ramey for food and room logistics, and a special call-out to Julie Doherty who was the organizational "glue" that pulled it all together. And, sincere appreciation to all of you for your hard work this past year.
