It is with great pleasure that I announce to all of you that we now have an International Health Division PowerPoint for use by all staff when you have an opportunity to share information about our work with key target audiences. The PowerPoint was designed to show clients, potential clients, partners, potential partners and others the impact that IHD is having around the world.
There are several sections to the PowerPoint:
1. Information about Abt Associates
2. Information about IHD –- our mission, our staff, our offices and our reputational capital
3. Sample project slides –- These include slides on: HSS II; AIRS; PATHS2; ZISSP; SHOPS; PHSP; HFG; HMIS in Georgia; Financial Management in Tanzania; Family Planning in Jordan; CHASS SMT in Mozambique; and innovations in Mali. These slides are meant for you to use if it is appropriate for your audience. You may decide to use one or two (or none at all) and replace the “project slide” section with slides of your own. This is meant to be a modular presentation where you can take out and/or slot in the most important information needed to reach the objectives of your presentation.
The PowerPoint is one of many communications tools we have created for use by all of IHD:

All of the materials mentioned above are on the web. You can find all information/slip sheets on Abt Associates’ website. The IHD brochure and the communications tool kit is on AGI. The links are listed above.
The PowerPoint, however, will not be available on the website/AGI because it is too dense a file. We will instead be sending it to your IT staff to download via the company FTP (transfer) site for distribution to all. If you do not have a dedicated IT person, it will be sent to the office/administration manager for your project. In the event that you would like it to be sent to someone else, or add someone else as the recipient for distribution, please let John Carolan John_Carolan@abtassoc.com know as he will be overseeing the distribution of this product.
The FTP (transfer) site will also be used for yet another product that is in the works: an IHD video. This is a tool for you to use at conferences, in presentations and to post on your website for those who have them. I will be in touch regarding the timeline for this exciting new communications product as soon as it is ready.
