Abt’s New Candidate Would you be surprised to learn that our number one source of candidates is through employee referrals? Would you also be surprised to know that we just increased the bonus payment for referrals? Well, they are and we did. Our goal is to increase the “thank you” bonus to you and encourage you to widen your recruiting efforts, especially for our more difficult positions. Referred employees are essentially pre-screened by you and ultimately can be a better fit within our company culture. Please read on to learn more about this enhanced program. The Employee Referral Program has changed in two important ways: · The bonus payment has increased from a flat $1,500 to a range of up to $7,500 for US based staff or 6 weeks of pay for LCNs, depending on the position level of the referral from entry to senior. · The eligibility for the referral is broad - it now includes those who routinely recruit personnel as a part of their role.* Each job now has its own application attached, and your name can be added by the candidate. If they are hired, you will complete a verification form. The policy can be found on AGI. | How do I know what jobs are open? · Go to AbtAssociates.com/careers for current openings or select jobs on your ATLAS dashboard. · Follow @AbtCareers on twitter. · Follow our company page on LinkedIn. How do I connect with candidates about job openings? · If someone you know would be a strong candidate for an Abt position, find the opening on the website, and select “email job to a friend” and invite them to apply. Don’t forget to tell them to include your name as a reference. · Are you going to a research or association conference? Stay in touch with colleagues whom you would like to recommend for a position at Abt.
· All applicants must apply online for specific jobs or apply to our general database. As a Federal Government contractor, we don’t accept unsolicited applications. · You can advise your colleague to apply online and be sure to list your name on the application in the “referred by” source in the application. · A referral is someone you recommend for a position at Abt, not just a resume that is forwarded to you. Ideally, the candidate is someone who you know and have vetted for a position. * To avoid a conflict of interest, we continue to limit staff who are directly involved in the hiring of the referral and also senior company executives. An example is that a hiring manager may refer a candidate for a position in which they are not involved, but may not get a bonus for referring a candidate to their own staffing position.
