Dear Colleagues,
At Abt Associates, our mission is accomplished through our most important resource – our people. To more efficiently and effectively support you and the work you do, I would like to tell you about the investments we are making in the Human Resources (HR) Department: our organization, our HR Service Center and the development of a new integrated platform for all HR functions.
Human Resources Organizational Alignment and HR Service Center
We have restructured the HR Department to make it easier to access HR support and services. There are now two HR Business Partners who are the key contacts for all HR-related issues:
For US-based Staff: Robin Gilbert
For International Staff: Veronique Tropper
Robin and Veronique or one of their team members can address your needs directly or refer you to the appropriate person from an HR Center of Excellence. You can view the new organizational structure on AGI.
You may already know of the HR Service Center (HRSC), which has been a valuable resource during the Performance Review Evaluation Plan (PREP). We are now expanding the services of HRSC to better align with your needs across the full spectrum of HR offerings. HRSC is your direct channel for assistance on HR matters. Your HR Service Center details are:

HR Platform Initiative
The HR Platform is one of our corporate initiatives and will produce a new system, ATLAS (Abt Talent, Learning and Support), which is a single platform to support all Abt HR functions related to your employment, career planning, learning, performance, compensation and more. Having an integrated, single-source HR system will enable us to improve efficiencies across the board.
ATLAS will be implemented in phases as each functional area is complete. The first phase you will see in July is to document your FY14 Goals. A series of training sessions will be offered to help get you started with ATLAS and to provide specific instruction on entering goals. Look for your invitation and more information coming from the HR Service Center mailbox.
This is an exciting time and we look forward to working with you as we improve the way we do HR at Abt.
