Updates to the Abt Library Search

Search for print materials through the main library search!

You can now search the Abt Library for print materials just as you do for electronic resources.  Go to the Abt Library page on AGI (Tools & Resources > Libraries > Abt Library) and enter your search terms.  If a resource is in our physical collection, you’ll now see the option “Access Through Abt Library.” Click on the link and you will be able to check out the book.

If you have any suggestions for additions to the library collection, please contact the Abt librarian, Sarah Curran.

New document delivery service, Infotrieve Mobile Library, is now available

Infotrieve’s Mobile Library now allows us to access articles that are not available in full-text through the Abt Library collection.   The new document delivery service is offered at a base service fee of $3, with additional fees to cover copyright and publishing costs, and provides same day, same hour access. This new service offers a lower fee than our current document delivery vendor, and provides some great new benefits like improved searching of resources, and an easier way to submit requests.

Additionally, the Mobile Library holds a repository of more than 400 articles that Abt staff have purchased on an individual basis.  You can access these articles for free through the “Article Repository” link in Infotrieve and you will also be able to access these titles through the main library search.

You can access Infotrieve via AGI, or directly within a library search when you see the option, “Order this article from Infotrieve”.

If you have any issues accessing the site, please contact Sarah Curran.  For more information about using Infotrieve, please see the attached help guides.  We will also be holding a training session hosted by Infotrieve on Thursday, December 4th - please look for an invitation to come.
