Amy,
Thank you very much for very
interesting document. All solutions are very interesting.
For us is too important to know;
1.
Review technically which
option will be best for drug database and e prescription (Katy, please could we
agree this with a) Tina (separately, to get idea as a pharmaceutical expert), B)
Ako, Vaja, Kostia, Valeri, Ushka (all together, to know technical details)
2.
How much will be
costs (Amy, Ahmad – could you help us, to provide idea approximate how
much will it cost for us??)
Thank you in advance,
Best Regards,
Alexander

Keti,
Please find attached a short paper on the Drug Information Databases we would
recommend you consider for the e-prescribing module. Please let us know
if you require additional information or have any questions.
At this point we do not have any questions regarding the drug database.
Ahmad is in Albania next week. Could we see how far we get with the work
on this and set up a call for later in the week - maybe Wednesday? In the
meantime if we have questions we will send them to you via email. Thank
you

Hi Ahmad, Amy,
Just wanted to follow up to our
last conversation (when we agreed to have weekly skype calls) and know if there
are some questions re drug database, e.g., that we may answer at this point. If
yes, why don’t we schedule a Skype call for Monday evening, March 26, say
19:00 Tbilisi time OR
if you think it’s
premature to discuss something until you finalize the tech requirements doc,
then let’s have it whenever appropriate. The only idea it to facilitate
the process in any way we can.
Thanks in advance!

Subject: Field names of the Drug Registry
Dear Ahmad and Amy,
Sending you the list of the fields of current drug registry.
Brief info about the Registry itself - it is an Excel sheet
with up to 12 000 pharmaceutical products. The product is entered into the
registry once it’s registered in the Country. Drug regulation department
in fact keeps two sources of information about the products: 1. Internal
registry (Excel sheet) and 2. Web-page, that includes rather limited
information about the product. Posting information about the pharmaceutical
product (not the price at this point) publicly is mandate by the Law. So,
ideally, in future it is desirable if public “registry/web site” is
automatically updated from the “internal registry”.
Moreover, there is a requirement to keep the images of drug
package and labeling, in a separate database though. Again, ideal would be if
the drug related info and these images are concentrated in one database.
I’m simply listing the name of the fields. I would
send the file itself, but doubt that it is readable because of
“Unicode/specific font”.
So, in attachments you will find:
1.
The list of the fields of the current drug registry
(Word file)
2.
Proposed list of field by our expert (Excel file)
Hope you find then helpful. And needless to mention to get
back to me should you have any questions.
Best,
