Dear Colleagues,
We know having many different login IDs and passwords to access Abt systems is inefficient and time-consuming for you. Solving this problem has been a top priority for me and my team. I’m happy to report that on October 8th we will implement a solution called Single Sign-On to address this problem for all Abt staff around the world.
With Single Sign-On, when you enter your login ID and password for any of the ten most frequently used Abt systems, you will automatically have access to the other nine. You will not have to enter your login ID and password again.
Implementing this change will unfortunately require a weekend outage to the email system as well as the other nine systems affected. The outage window begins Friday, October 5 at 7PM EDT and continues through Sunday, October 7 at Midnight.
The ten SSO systems are: Outlook, AbtNet, AbtKnowledge, AbtTravel Portal, Concur, Learning Management System (LMS), Performance Review Evaluation Plan (PREP), Partner Registry, and Oracle Applications including PIC and Oracle Time and Labor.
During the email downtime you will not have access to your Inbox or be able to send email. Your email messages will be stored and available to you when the system is back online. Anyone sending you email will not get an error or notice any difference.
I understand the email outage may have a big impact on people who need to communicate during this time for work. This is why we will be offering alternate email accounts for those with mission-critical communication needs.
If you will be engaged in critical activities during the email system outage and require email access, please submit your name to the ITSC by Friday, September 28th so that alternate email can be set up for you. Below is the contact info for the ITSC:

In order to implement Single Sign-On and reduce the number of login IDs and passwords you need to do your work, some of our Abt systems will be unavailable beginning Friday, October 5 at 9PM EDT through Sunday, October 7 at Midnight. Those ten SSO systems are:

If you will need the use of an alternate email account during the SSO implementation, please submit your name to the ITSC by Friday, September 28th.
If you have online travel plans to make, please make them prior to Friday, October 5 at 9PM EDT. The online travel systems will not be available until Sunday, October 7 at Midnight EDT. If you need travel assistance over the weekend, please call BCD Travel at 1.800.228.4494.
