 Please find attached Abstract Submission Guidelines for the AIDS2014 conference, my apologies for not sending this around on Wednesday.

Keep in mind - you must specify a track (A-E below), as well as a structure for your abstract. Also keep in mind word limits: The abstract text body is limited to 350 words. Titles are limited to 30 words.

·         Track A: Basic and Translational Research

·         Track B: Clinical Research

·         Track C: Epidemiology and Prevention Research

·         Track D: Social and Political Research, Law, Policy and Human Rights

·         Track E: Implementation Research, Economics, Systems and Synergies with other Health and Development Sectors

The HIV/AIDS TWG looks forward to receiving your abstracts for review by January 15.

Dear Colleagues,

We hope you are all working hard on your Abstracts for AIDS2014.

In order to support the best possible quality a review will be required by the HIV/AIDS TWG for all abstracts being submitted to the AIDS2014 conference.

An HIV/AIDS TWG Member* will then provide a technical review and comments. Abstracts are due for internal review on January 15.

Please note that this is in addition to internal project approval processes and that authors will still be individually responsible for submitting their abstracts by the conference deadline.

As many of you know, the International AIDS Society AIDS2014 conference will take place in Melbourne, Australia July 20-25, 2014. The theme of the conference is ‘Stepping Up the Pace.’

Abstract submissions are now open and the deadline is February 6, 2014. Please start thinking about putting together your abstracts now!

 If you decide to submit an abstract, please make sure that you follow your project’s approval process and remember that it is expected that projects will fund their staff’s participation at the event.

The HIV/AIDS TWG is helping to organize Abt’s presence at the event including abstract submissions. Additional details will be sent out over the next few weeks on how the TWG will support abstract review and submission.
