Dear IHD Colleagues,

 

I am happy to announce that Gregory Buchholz has joined the International Health Division team as its Division Finance Manager. Until recently, Gregg worked with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) where he was responsible for administering the full life-cycle of over 30 programs in Asia, consisting of funding from the US Department of State, USAID, AusAID, DFID, British High Commission, the European Union, CIDA, the German Auswäertiges Amt, and the Norwegian Government. Prior to working at IFES, Gregg worked with RTI for several on their health portfolio, including work with the USAID funded Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) program.  Gregg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stony Brook University.  Gregg brings more than ten years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, donor audits, financial reporting, proposal development, contracts and grant administration, large scale procurement, donor compliance, program start-up and close-out, and policy development and analysis. 

 

The Division Finance Manager will work with the Division Management Team in the development of the annual division revenue planning and forecasting, and in the subsequent annual reporting against this plan.  This will include working with the FCA team to minimize cost overruns, resolve revenue recognition and reporting issues, and to minimize unbilled revenue and accounts receivable.  In addition Gregg will serve as a resource for guidance and oversight to the FCAs within the Division, including:

 

·         Identifying division FCA needs and working with the DDVPs and project teams to recruit and hire required staff;

·         Mentoring and training of Division FCA colleagues  regarding client requirements and company policies as needed;

·         Conduct regular FCA meetings at the division level; and

·         Represent the Division FCA team in Corporate Workgroups and taskforces relating to financial practices and matters.
