Subject: New Proposal Templates - Tech Proposal and Resumes
Hello all,
We have two new templates for proposal preparation: One for the overall technical proposal and the other for resumes.
As we all know, we win new business because we understand the prospective client’s needs and desires and we then tell the client – via the proposal – how we’ll meet those needs and deliver the results they want. Our client-centered ideas and plans are critical. At the same time, the presentation of our ideas and plans is also important. These two new templates were designed to enhance how we present information to the prospective client.
The new template for the overall technical proposal is an update, a freshening, of the old proposal template. We believe this will be more engaging for the prospective client. The new resume template is more of a change from the old resume template. It’s designed to better showcase our most critical asset – our people. One key to note in the resume template is the tan highlight box. The info that we show in this highlight box can vary from proposal to proposal, depending on whatever we think is important to emphasize for the individual proposal at hand.
These two templates are now available in three locations:
1. On everybody’s computer, in Word. Go to File/New/My Templates/Abt Standards – and there you’ll find both templates. They’re the last two docs in this folder.
2. AGI, in the Business Development Service Center – under tools and templates for proposal writing. The links below will take you to AGI’s Biz Dev Service Center.
3. New proposal folders for IEG and IHD. These two templates have been added to the pre-populated master proposal folders for IEG and IHD, replacing the old versions that were in the master proposal folders.
We’ve already had a soft introduction of these templates and various proposal teams have been using them. Now we want to make sure everybody knows about them and knows where to find them.
