The $40 refund will be coming from our membership department and will be a separate refund from your registration. If you do not receive the $40 refund by the end of the month please let me know. You will receive
$215 from registration and $40 from membership so you’re total refund will be $255 but it will not come all at once.

It is fine to be refunded for $215.00. I am forwarding to you the mail bellow about the additional refund that we are also waiting for – $40. That amount was cut from our credit card without any reason.

I checked with my membership department and you should not have been charged the $40 fee if you opted out of having printed material. You will be refunded the $40. It usually takes about 2 weeks for the refund
to be processed.

Dear Natalie,
I became APHA member. I chose green discount option and the bill showed me $75, but somehow after providing the visa information for payment I was charged $115 instead of $95. And the system did/t notify me at
any stage about the additional $40 that was indicated as being for airmail periodicals that I didn’t want. Please, see the attached screenshot of payment details.
Is there any possibility That I will be refunded that $40 back as this amount is not for membership.

Thank you for your interest in APHA. I’m glad to hear that you and many of your colleagues want to join the meeting. The fee you mention below for someone who makes less than $45,000 a year is based on their
membership to APHA. You must be a member of APHA to get that discount.
You can register as a regular member with a salary less than $45,000 during the registration process at
https://show.jspargo.com/apha13/Registration/Default.aspx. Click the button that says “Become A New Member.” Then select the membership category for someone who makes less than $45,000.
You can upload proof of salary directly on the website. The cost of membership is $95 and if you opt for the green discount it would only be $75.
Membership is valid for one year only and is non-refundable. After the next year you do not need to renew and we will not automatically charge your credit card.
Once you finish membership you will be taken to registration. You will automatically be offered the discounted member price of $265. The total for membership with the green discount and registration would be
$340. This would be the best price option for someone who wants to attend the conference for the full meeting.

I am writing regarding the APHA Conference fees that are shown on your site

Our project is participating in the APHA conference this year and some colleagues are willing to join the conference. But we have some questions regarding the fees for enrolment: as indicated on your site the payment for a person with less
than $45,000 (for the member) if paid before 26th of September is $265. You don’t have options in this category for non-members. So, please can you explain to us if this $265 include the membership fee or membership fee should be added to this $265?
If registered as members and we used Green discount as well, are we supposed to pay membership fee for every year or can we cancel the membership during the year?
The point is that, we have salary less than $45,000 a year, we are not an APHA members and we are willing to participate the full conference (not only one day). Can you suggest the best price options for us?
Another question is regarding the document showing the annual salary: should we submit the document online?
