Dear Terry, Ahmad

Thank you for the feedback and thoughtful comments. I’ll try to answer your questions:

1.       It’s possible to post all types of drug related information on the cloud, including and not limited to drug to drug interactions, contraindications, dosage checking and etc. However, we are thinking to limit the access of users to specific information. Doctors and pharmacists will certainly have access to all types of scientific-pharmacologic information, but ordinary citizens may view only the instructions that come with the drug, in a package. We may certainly discuss this further.

2.       It’s a bit tricky… originally we’ve been thinking to put some objective indicators about the providers, however there is no standardized performance assessment systems/tools used in the Country. Even if we put the info re hospital outcomes, it would be inaccurate since there is no case mix or other objective comparative tools available, as mentioned. So, we thought the only solution at this point  would be to put a small questionnaire or a poll for customers, like: how they liked the hospital, would they recommend it to others and etc…we are not sure about the customer ratings, but we can certainly think more about it and find a relevant solution. Any suggestions?

Hope this answers your questions. Let me know if anything here or from the cloud specifications document requires further clarification.

My best,

Keti

Two comments: First, seems like a natural place to have drug-drug interaction available for users to check their prescriptions. Is it in the requirements and I missed it?

Second, a powerful tool is to have the end users be able to rate a provider or facility and have it available to the public. You mention the 10 best facilities but is that a rating by the Government on outcomes or by the consumer on customer service? Just like any business if the customer gets to provide feedback it tends to drive more customer friendly service. Is this something that is of interest or appropriate to have a ranking come up when someone searches on a provider and a  facility?
