To my dear US colleagues,
My sincerest condolences for your fallen four marines who senselessly died yesterday in Tennessee's shooting, at the hands of yet another crazed and misguided person who was dumb enough to actually believe that by growing a beard and shooting dead other humans will make him closer to Allah (God) than the rest of us and will make the Almighty happy and satisfied and therefore shall be rewarded with a one-way ticket (Martyr class) to heaven !
Although no official statement about the motives of this crime is out yet, but I'm gonna make a wild guess (based on news reports so far) and assume its motivated by religion.
According to CNN, the shooter is American but originally from a Jordanian descend. He has lived and studied in the US. At some point he even got a grant or a scholarship. And what does he do in return ? He shoots people dead instead of saying Thank you. How much unappreciative can someone be to bite the hand that has welcomed him and carried him all the way ? This level of utter ungratefulness is just sickening.
I am a muslim and a Jordanian, and this crime (including any outrageous attempts to justify it) doesn't represent me nor my religious beliefs in any way, shape or form.
May the victims R.I.P. As for the shooter, may he get what he deserves in the afterlife.
