Thanks for joining us for the January 21st FY 15 Q3 IHD Global Staff Meeting. Attending the meeting were staff from 22 countries in person and via audio and webcast. The presentation slides will soon be available on AGI.

o 1 Extension/Ceiling Increase ($4.7M)
• Improving Health System Performance through Health Financing and Governance Initiatives: Senegal Health System Strengthening (Senegal/HSS) Project
o Senegal/HSS aims to improve the performance of the decentralized public health system based on effective policies, programs, and budgets. The project is working to:
§ Improve HS performance through policy development and coordination
§ Improve financial access and protection
§ Improve access and quality of basic health services
§ Improve access to quality drugs and essential health products
§ Improve HS performance through health financing initiatives
§ Implement a performance-based financing pilot to improve coverage and quality of MNCH services
§ Implement a direct financing pilot to support the decentralization of health services
§ Support the extension of community-based health insurance for improved financial access and protection in the informal and rural sector

• Reputational Capital
o FY15 Q3 Total: 80 (18% increase over FY15 Q2)
o 2 peer-reviewed journal articles accepted in Q3 and 2 Thought Leadership papers published

• Announcements/Upcoming Events:
o Vacation balances – must be used by March 31 – you can carry over 80 hours
o Mandatory General Security Awareness Online Training – must be completed by all staff. Questions, contact elena_martinez@abtassoc.com
o Financial update – We are working on final forecast for FY15 as well as for FY16 – and appreciate your contributions! Please clean out advances, submit expense reports, and work with FCAs and F&As to have all accounts up to date in preparation for the closing of the FY.
o Subaccount – Please work with F&A staff to ensure all labor in the subaccount is cleared in a timely way; we do not want to write off anything at the end of March!
