Greetings.  In my last update on the closure of International Operations, dated November 15, I provided the new location and responsibilities of former International Ops. staff.  I also indicated that, at a later date, I would provide a more detailed plan for the reassignment of services and functions formerly provided by International Operations.  Attached please find a slide which outlines these services or functions and the corresponding responsible office(s) going forward.  This plan has been discussed with Lisa Matt, international Deputy DVPs, the Project Management Solutions Team (PMST) and Global Operations Control as well as other relevant departments.

From the plan, let me highlight a couple of issues of interest:

·         ISMS/Process Central:  The PMST will provide governance and oversight of ISMS and Process Central.  Alex Gutierrez, now resident in Global Operations Control, will provide ongoing necessary maintenance for the system, with his level of effort budgeted from the CBO budget.

·         2014 COP Conference:  We will hold the 2014 COP Conference; that effort will restart in the coming weeks.

As I indicated in the last update, please continue to contact the usual staff with the usual operational questions you would normally direct to them.  Most of all, thanks again for your contributions to the positive impact we have on people’s lives worldwide and to One Global Abt.
