Dear Colleagues,

We have just put a video of the closing event of our 50^th Anniversary celebration,  the launch of Abt Associates’ Bold Thinkers Series, on our Website.   This Reputational Capital event, held Jan. 15 at The Newseum, was very successful, with more than 200 attendees representing clients, partners and the private sector.

Anne-Marie Slaughter, Abt Board member and president of New America, did a fabulous job moderating the discussion on “Collaboration Post-2015: Where Can Partnerships Take Development?” Devex was our media partner for the event, and Raj Kumar, the president and editor in chief of Devex, also moderated one of the panels.    Together with Devex, we did a qualitative survey of 30 sustainability executives to get their views on how business views the development sector, and you can view the results here.

Division support from our colleagues in IHD and IEG was critical to the success of this event, from developing the theme, to enlisting speakers for the panels to providing the names of clients and partners to be invited.  It was accompanied by a big social media campaign and was trending on Twitter in Washington the day of the event.   We invite you to join the conversation about the future of PPPs at #ReimaginePPP.
