Dear Colleagues,
Thank you so much for your generous support to aid recovery efforts in the Philippines. As you recall, we announced a $10,000 direct donation to UNICEF back on November 11th. At that time, we also announced an effort to match staff donations up to $5,000. This week we exceeded our $5,000 match and we want to do more to reward your generosity. We will therefore continue to match contributions made through this week.
I have received a few questions about the matching portion and wanted to clarify how it works. If you make a personal donation to any organization helping in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan we will match that donation with a donation to UNICEF. So for example if you give $100 to Save the Children, Abt will contribute $100 to UNICEF. Please provide a receipt for your contribution to Benny Pittman in the Bethesda office via pouch, scanned copy by email, or by mail no later than Friday, November 22, 2013.
