To whom it may concern,
I would like to kindly ask for your attention and seek an advice. Let me first explain the issue. For the past many years, I have been using a national ID card and the international passport that I had to change. The thing is that , I was recently notified by the Ministry of Justice that there was a technical mistake and mismatch between my national id card/international passport and the data stored in the central birth registry archive. Thus, I was officially asked to change both documents to be in compliance with the Archive information. Attached you will find the letter received from the Ministry of Justice proving this fact. I would like to underscore that this mistake discovered just recently and throughout these years I was never aware of it and have never encountered any issues with any documents. I have already obtained the new documents, however all my visas, including the Visa to the United States now remains in my old passport.
That said, I would like to explore possibilities to move my current valid US visa from the old to the new international passport. Please advise, whether or not this is a valid request or advice how I can maintain and use my current US visa in other ways.
For your further information, please find attached list of documents in Georgian and English languages.
Thank you for your time and kind consideration.
Best Regards
