As we move into a New Year and a new decade, we would like to thank you for your continued support to our unique Association and wish you an excellent 2020. At the outset of the new ISSA triennium,
we look forward to strengthening once again our collaboration in addressing priority social security challenges.
In doing so, we can build on the important ISSA achievements in 2019. The highlight for our global community of social security institutions was the World Social Security Forum (WSSF), organized in Brussels and hosted by the public social security institutions of Belgium.
The WSSF2019 demonstrated how social security institutions worldwide are taking leadership in addressing coverage, sustainability and labour market challenges. Innovative approaches, the use of emerging technologies and people-centred solutions are only some of the solutions developed by ISSA members to protect people in a changing world and achieve the global objective of Universal Social Protection by 2030.
As we start a new triennium, the ISSA is well-positioned to support member institutions in this process. Through our international and regional events, data and analysis, and the practical knowledge and services of the ISSA Centre for Excellence, the ISSA will do all it can to support its global membership. A number of innovations are being introduced in the new programme to ensure that the ISSA can respond more flexibly to your needs.
