The International Social Security Association (ISSA) is pleased to announce the ISSA European Network (IEN) Technical Seminar on anticipating the evolving needs of an ageing population, which will take place in Warsaw, Poland, form 5 to 6 December 2019 at the invitation of the Social Insurance Institution of Poland (Zaklad Ubezpieczen Spolecznych - ZUS).
The seminar will focus on the various challenges posed by population ageing for social security. It will first address the importance of demographic forecasts and their role in driving change regarding social security schemes. The seminar will then also review the impacts of population ageing on social security and highlight innovative approaches to meet the evolving social security needs of ageing populations while meeting sustainability goals.
The seminar is open to ISSA member organizations from the European region and the working language will be English.
