Dear colleague,
President of the ISSA Control Commission, President of the National Organizing Committee of the next
World Social Security Forum in Brussels in 2019, General Administrator of a public social security administration for more than 12 years and Doctor in Economics and Management of the University of Liège in
Belgium, I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the position of ISSA Secretary General.
My international experience and the my participation to numerous Forum around the World (Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, Baku, Seoul, Addis Ababa, Kuwait City, Paris,
etc.) have enabled me to better know the expectations of the Institutions of Social Security in terms of studies, training and support. I think ISSA must be more present for European members but also more proactive and concrete. ISSA branch experts must put
their knowledge and expertise directly at the service of members in a more concrete and pragmatic approach, with a more meaningful involvement of experts from member institutions. In addition, I am convinced that more synergies of actions must be developed
with International and regional organizations (UE, ILO, WTO, etc.). I have already excellent relationship with some of the heads of these organizations.
These are all positive prospects that I intend to pursue as Secretary General. In addition, I present my vision of the ISSA in an attached file, as well
as my curriculum vitae.
With a strong background in social security, national and international, a serious management experience, a
PhD. in Economics and Management and a true motivation to
make
progress towards
sustainable development,
social justice and respect for human
rights:
