ISSA Regional Social Security Forum for Europe:

The International Social Security Association (ISSA) is pleased to announce that the Regional Social Security Forum for Europe will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 14 to 16 May 2019, at the invitation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The triennial Forum is the most important social security event in the region. A key networking opportunity, it provides a unique platform for CEOs and senior managers of ISSA member institutions to discuss the main social security challenges, be inspired by innovative solutions and define strategies to shape the future of social security in Europe. A survey has been sent to member institutions in the region to determine their priorities and contribute to the design of the programme of this event. The ISSA Good Practice Award for Europe competition 2019 is now open, and the ISSA Good Practice Award for Europe will be presented during the Forum, recognizing outstanding accomplishment by social security organizations. If you have developed good practices in social security administration, you are strongly encouraged to submit an entry. This is a unique chance to gain international recognition for your institution. You will find more information on: The Forum is open to ISSA members from the European region and invited participants. There is no registration fee for representatives of ISSA member institutions. Representatives of other institutions are requested to contact the ISSA General Secretariat for the terms and conditions of participation. The working languages are English, French, German and Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in these languages and in Russian.
