Member consultation on ISSA Guidelines

As defined by the objectives of the ISSA Programme and Budget 2017–2019, the ISSA is currently revising and preparing new sets of Guidelines in a number of core areas of social security administration.

As part of the inclusive preparatory process that accompanies the development of all Guidelines, the ISSA General Secretariat invites member organizations to comment on draft versions of these texts.

The following draft new set of ISSA Guidelines are open for comments until 19 November:

  • Error, Evasion and Fraud (NEW)
  • Contribution, Collection and Compliance
  • Return to Work and Reintegration
  • Workplace Health Promotion
  • Prevention of Occupational Risks
  • Investment of Social Security Funds
  • Service Quality

The draft sets of Guidelines have been prepared with the ISSA technical commissions. The final Guidelines will be presented to the ISSA membership at the World Social Security Forum in October 2019.

Due to the complex drafting and editorial process, the consultation phase on the new and revised ISSA Guidelines will take place in English only. The final versions of all Guidelines will be made available in four languages (English, French, Spanish or German), and members may provide comments in these languages.
